PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy covers the webpages, tutorials, and download links provided by V2Ray Tutorial at v2raycli.com. It explains how data is handled when you browse the site. Data handled by client apps and the privacy practices of subscription services are outside the scope of this website’s control.
1. Data We Collect
This is a static content site. We don’t offer account registration, collect email addresses, or provide forms for submitting subscription URLs. You can read tutorials, switch platforms, and view download links without providing your name, email address, or client connection details.
When you visit a page or download link, the server and network infrastructure may generate request logs, including your IP address, request time, page path, response status, browser information, and referring page. These logs help deliver pages, troubleshoot request errors, and address unusual traffic. The fields recorded and retention period depend on the deployment configuration; we don’t promise a fixed retention period.
Subscription URL fields and configuration windows shown in tutorials are static examples. They don’t read your clipboard or submit node configurations to this site. Don’t add real subscription URLs, access tokens, or connection credentials to page URL parameters or other public locations.
2. Analytics and How We Use Data
We use analytics to understand page visits, broad device and browser trends, and interactions such as platform selection. This helps us find broken links, improve layouts on narrow screens, and update tutorials. Analytics aren’t used to read proxy traffic from client apps.
Platform switches on the download page may record the selected platform. These events show user actions; they don’t indicate that an installation was completed or a connection succeeded. Providing download links doesn’t give this website access to client node lists, browsing history, or subscription details.
Browser privacy settings, script restrictions, and network conditions may make analytics incomplete. You don’t need to allow analytics to read our tutorials. Disabling scripts may affect features that rely on them, such as navigation or download link updates.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
The static pages don’t require login session cookies. Depending on the deployment configuration, analytics or network security components may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visits, remember state, or handle unusual requests. This doesn’t mean the same storage items are written on every visit.
If browser local storage is used to save interface preferences, it’s limited to your current browser and isn’t a way to submit subscription settings. You can check what’s stored in your browser’s developer tools under the Application or Storage panel.
You can block cookies in your browser’s Privacy and Security settings or delete this site’s cookies and site data. Saved preferences may return to their default settings after deletion. Clearing browser site data doesn’t remove request logs already recorded on the server.
4. Download Sources and External Services
Our download page links to distributions of v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. Installation files aren’t hosted with this site’s static pages. Download URLs are resolved through a same-origin distribution endpoint, while the files themselves may be served by external distribution infrastructure. URL resolution and download requests may also generate access logs.
Third-party file distribution services, client apps, and subscription providers each have their own privacy policies. After you leave this site or run a client app, consult the relevant service’s policies and the app’s settings to learn how connection information is handled. Our descriptions don’t guarantee how third parties process data.
Downloading a client app doesn’t provide a subscription service. Before entering a subscription URL, check the provider’s identity and how it handles data. When troubleshooting, redact tokens, user identifiers, and other sensitive details from URLs first.
5. Policy Updates and Support
If our data practices, analytics configuration, or download process changes, we’ll revise this page and update the month shown at the top. Check this page for the latest information. If the purpose or scope of data processing changes substantially, we’ll add a notice on the relevant page.
For help with setup, see the Quick Start Guide and the configuration FAQs in the complete installation guide. These pages offer self-service guidance; they aren’t channels for submitting personal data. For requests to access or delete data held by a third-party service, use the contact channels published by that service.
